I quickly researched how many plants per person as well as companion plants. Please take some time to confirm these choices for yourselves.
SNAP PEAS - 3-5 plants per person
- Helper Plants: Chives and Lettuce (Peas also are a helper for Zucchini)
ZUCCHINI - 1-2 plants per person (Planting the zucchini in the middle will keep the green onions away from the peas)
- Helper plants: Marigold, Nasturtium, Oregano, Zinnia
GREEN ONIONS - 15-25 plants per person
- Helper plants: Marigold, Nasturtium, Oregano, Zinnia
SHARED PLANTS & LOCATIONS:
KALE - In Molly and Jerry's bed along with beans and cucumbers
- Helper plants: Dill, Marigold and Nasturtium
- Catnip protects Kale from pests
CARROTS - In Marguerite and Wags bed / 30 plants per person
- Helper Plants: Cilantro, Nasturtium, Rosemary and Sage
TOMATOES - Two upper beds (will include cherry tomatoes)
DELICATA & WINTER SQUASH - Long bed in lower beds
